You can use both your SIM card and your eSIM simultaneously if you're using an Apple smartphone. Select eSIM for data from your smartphone and the SIM card for calls and SMS.
Please keep in mind that your network provider may impose data roaming fees for receiving or making phone calls as well as SMS if you leave your SIM card activated.
