“This code is no longer valid” error

When the QR code is not properly scanned or if the eSIM has already been set up, this error occurs.

 

“This code is no longer valid” error

 

QR codes are occasionally only partially scanned due to a bad connection. After making sure your network is strong, try rescanning.

 

To determine whether your eSIM has previously been set up:

 

Activate Settings > General > About.

 

If your eSIM is turned "on" in the Cellular Plans section of your phone, scroll down and you should be able to see the ICCID and one additional digit. Please be aware that most eSIMs can only be installed once, therefore trying to reinstall an eSIM that has already been removed won't work. For further information, visit your eSIM app or website.
